Neither Hancock County nor Owensboro was able to fully get going, losing their respective games.

Meade County 4, Hancock County 2

Hancock County committed three errors and was unable to recover, losing to Meade County 4-2. Dec Lewko threw a complete game, allowing two earned runs over six innings, while striking out five. He also finished 1-2 with an RBI, while Jacob Shultz drove in a run. Jack Roberts and L Dixon combined for two of the Hornets’ three hits.

Breckinridge County 18, Owensboro 7

An early error put the Red Devils in a hole they could not climb out of, losing to Breckinridge County 18-7. Ty Ashley went 2-3 with an RBI, while Blake Kimbrell went 2-3 with two RBIs. Brady Benjamin also drove in a run, while Will Rickard, Trevor DeLacy, and Eli Hampton all recorded hits. Ashley started on the mound, giving up four unearned runs, while Brayden Toler, Nash Miller, Tristan Miller, and Banjamin all pitched out of the bullpen.
