Apollo 9, Logan County 3
Tied 3-3 early, the Eagles scored four runs in the bottom of the third in their 9-3 win over Logan County. Jackson Carder, Ryleigh Logan, and Sam Holder combined for eight RBIs, while Ross Millburn finished 3-4. Carter Kimmel allowed two earned runs across six innings, striking out eight. Logan pitched a scoreless seventh, striking out two.
McCracken County 7, Daviess County 1
The Panthers fell behind 3-0 in the first inning and never fully recovered, losing to McCracken County 7-1. Sean Page drove in the team’s lone run, while Noah Ranburger finished 3-3 with a double. Nolan Johnson started on the mound, allowing four earned runs over 1 2/3 innings, while Benjamin Watkins, Lucas Ward, and Parker Wilson all pitched in relief.
Owensboro 12, Central Hardin 10
Jumping out to an early 8-3 lead, the Red Devils survived a late scare to beat Central Hardin 12-10. The Bruins scored seven runs in the bottom of the fifth to tie it, but Brady Benjamin drove in two runs on a double in the top of the sixth to regain the lead. Eli Hampton finished 3-5 with three RBIs and a walk, while Evan Hampton went 3-6 with an RBI. Blake Kimbrell, Will Rickard, and Cayden Ray combined for five RBIs. Nash Miller started on the mound, allowing six earned runs over four innings. Benjamin and Brayden Toler pitched the last three innings out of the bullpen.
Owensboro 9, North Oldham 8
Eli Hampton homered and drove in three runs to power the Red Devils past North Oldham 9-8. Trailing 8-6 in the bottom of the sixth, Hampton and Blake Kimbrell both singled to drive in three runs. Evan Hampton finished 3-4, while Will Rickard drove in a run. Brayden Toler was the starting pitcher, allowing three earned runs over 2 2/3 innings, striking out one. Brady Benjamin, Trevor Delacy, Eli and Evan Hampton, and Griffin Gaddis all pitched out of the bullpen.
