Hosting Grayson County, Hancock County’s boys’ tennis team fell 5-0, marking their first loss of the season. The Lady Hornets also lost 4-1, with their sole match win coming from Audrie Morris. She won her singles match 9-8. Next up for Hancock County is a road match with Apollo on Thursday.
“Several of our best players did not compete very well,” Hancock County head coach Dan Hopkins said. “Hopefully, we will do better on Thursday against Apollo. I am proud of Audrie Morris, who figured out how to beat her opponent.”
