McLean County grounded out an impressive one point win, while Daviess County fell on the road.
Henderson County 58, Daviess County 49
Kennedy Lane hit three threes to go along with her game-high 21 points, as the Lady Panthers fell short to Henderson County on the road 58-49. Lily Hogland added 13 points, while Zoey Beehn (6), Molly Hancock (5), and Briley Henry (4) rounded out the teams scoring.
“It was a hard fought battle and the score doesn’t indicate how close the game was,” Daviess County head coach Natalie Payne said.
McLean County 34, Muhlenberg County 33
The Lady Cougars were able to overcome a rough shooting night to take down Muhlenberg County on the road 34-33. Karlee Floyd scored nine of her team-high 10 points in the second quarter to lead McLean County in scoring.
“The girls showed some grit tonight,” McLean County head coach Eli Ellis said. “We came out flat and had a rough shooting night. We were able to do enough little things to pull one out.”
