The boys’ and coed bowling teams for Daviess County went home with wins, while Owensboro’s boys’ and girls’ teams split with South Warren.

Daviess County Vs. Ohio County

Hosting Ohio County, both the boys’ and coed teams went home happy – winning 6-1 and 7-0. For the Panthers, their only loss on the night came by one pin. Evan Onstott rolled 205 & 190 to lead the way while Conner Qualle bowled a 245. Lucas Tincher rolled a new high game of 247 and Alec Jones finished with a 180 and 188. The baker teams rolled 174 and 242 including the front six strikes to take the win.

For the coed team, Taylor Curry bowled 170 and 171 while Nolan Ward finished with 167.

Owensboro Vs. South Warren

On the road against South Warren, the Red Devils left with a 5-2 victory, while the Lady Devils fell short 0-7. For the boys, Xavier Coomes bowled high scores of 207 and 242, while Christian Miller rolled a 235. Chuck Canady (209), Tristan Miller (198), Sebastian Lawrence (193), and Trey Douglas (193) also all bowled high scores.

For the Lady Devils, Emily Cooper rolled high scorers of 133 and 121. Despite the girls’ loss, coach Regina Christensen is proud of the team’s improvements they have been making.

Owensboro will be back in action this Saturday when they travel to Paducah for a match with Graves County, McCracken County, and Daviess County,
