Windy Hollow Dragway’s inaugural “Jr Royal,” slated for October 19, has been postponed until 2025.

Organizers released the following statement on Monday morning.

“Despite our efforts during the past week, we have been unable to resolve the electrical issues at the track regarding the Accutime Reporting System. We have been in contact with the company’s technical support team and have not been able to come to a resolution before this weekend’s scheduled events. We look forward to seeing all of our competitors and fans in 2025,” said Trevor Hutchins, track promoter.

The event was expected to pay $1,000 (guaranteed) to the winner of the Junior Dragster bracket event, $500 to the runner-up, and $50 to the semifinal winners.

The other events at the track, including the camping and trick-and-or-treating, have also been canceled.
