Jada Pollard scored twice in the Apollo’s 3-0 shutout win at Ohio County on Thursday.
Kara Green scored the team’s third goal of the match and keeper Becca Jones recorded four saves. All three goals were unassisted.
“We definitely showed improvement from some of our prior performances,” Apollo head coach Zach Akin said. “I am really proud of the effort the girls put in. I thought we moved the ball well at times, and it’s really a performance we can build on. A good bounce-back performance after a tough district match on Tuesday.”
