Owensboro Parks & Recreation is celebrating National Parks & Recreation Month with a special “Play for Free Day” on Friday. There will be complimentary activities including swimming, golf, and ice skating.
Those interested can take advantage of the following opportunities:
- Combest Pool: Free swim admission from 12-4:30 p.m.
- Edge Ice Center: Free evening session from 7-9:30 p.m.
- Ben Hawes Golf Course: Free round on the Par 3 course from dawn to dusk
- Hillcrest Golf Course: Free green fee for 9 holes of golf
