Herndon sweeps weekend at Windy Hollow Speedway

TJ Herndon swept the Ware Trucking and Providence Paving Tuckessee Street Stock Series on Saturday at Windy Hollow Speedway.

Thirteen drivers from three states made the trip to battle for the $2,500 winner’s check as part of Kelley Trucking, LLC night.

Herndon, of Atwood, Tennessee, turned quick time in the Hamm’s Lawncare Qualifying session with a lap of 18.068 seconds. Owensboro’s Jeff Maysey qualified second with Trevor Woodard qualifying in third.

Herndon continued his domination of the event with a win in the first heat race for the series, with Maysey taking home the win in the second and final heat race for the street stocks.

In the 25-lap feature, it was Herndon leading flag to flag to take home the win. Maysey finished in second followed by Dale Nelson from Milan, Tennessee.
