Eagle Stadium hosted the 2024 City-County Championship where all 5 local high schools competed against each other. The Eagles claimed the championship in the boys’ competition, and the Lady Red Devils lifted the title in the girls’ competition.

Apollo’s boys’ team was named City-County Champions after placing 1st with a score of 97. The girls’ team placed 2nd overall with a score of 66. AHS also placed 1st in both the boys and girls 4x400m relay, 1st in the boys 4x800m relay and 1st in the girls 4x100m relay. The top finishers for Apollo included:
