Owensboro had a successful outing against Bowling Green as the girls won 5-0 and the boys won 3-2.
The girls’ dominant 5-0 win was led by two 6-0 wins from Ella Cason. Molly Meyer contributed a 6-0 win and a 6-2 win, and Maddie Meyer won 6-1 and 6-2. After a 6-2 defeat, Sophia Merchant bounced back and won 6-2 and won the tie breaker. In doubles, the duo of Isabelle Rhisz/Julia Marshall won two 6-0 matches, and Lexie Moyers/Madison Clark won 6-1 and 6-2.
The boys team won 3-2 with a win coming from John Wathen who had 6-1 and 6-0 victories in singles. In doubles, the duo of Joseph Merchant/Patrick Haykh won 6-0 and 6-1 and Houston and Cooper Danzer won 6-1 and 6-2.
