Owensboro Catholic hosted Bowling Green at the Sportscenter where they secured the victory on home court, and Apollo were defeated on the road against McLean County.

Apollo took to the road to play against McLean County where they were defeated 42-35.
Both teams were able to find success defensively as the first quarter ended 10-7 with McLean leading. AHS and McLean still kept it close in the second quarter with Apollo scoring 11 points McLean’s 12. The game went into halftime at 22-18 with AHS slightly trailing. Jenna Dant’s 8 points in the third quarter helped the E-gals to 10 points, but McLean matched them with 10 of their own. Apollo scored 7 in the final quarter, but it wasn’t enough to take the lead and McLean took the win 42-35.
Leading the E-gals in scoring was Dant who shot 7 of 9 from the free throw line as part of her 15 points. Jennifer Lee followed behind with 10 points on the night.
OCHS 64, Bowling Green 53
Owensboro Catholic had a 10-point victory at the Sportscenter as they took down Bowling Green 64-53.
Both teams found their rhythms on offense early as 2 early threes from Delaney Cooper helped OCHS lead 15-14 going into the second. Catholic extended their lead in the second quarter after outscoring Bowling Green 17-13 to go into halftime at 32-27. The Lady Aces defense was able to hold Bowling Green to 11 points in the third quarter while they added to their lead with 18 points. OCHS closed out the game at 64-53.
Cooper had 3 threes to go with her 15 total points during the game. Hailee Johnson scored 15 points as well to help lead the Lady Aces. Aubrey Randolph had a three pointer to go with her 10 points on the night.
