Kenzie McDaniel led the Lady Raiders in scoring, but THS went on to fall short in their 47-33 defeat against regional opponents Grayson County.
Trinity started the game off strong as 2 threes from Sophie Hatfield and Madison McDaniel helped gain a 10-5 lead at the end of the first quarter. Grayson began to push back in the second quarter as they outscored THS 10-8, but Trinity still held the lead in halftime at 18-15. The second half wasn’t as kind to the Lady Raiders, as they were held to 7 points in the third and 8 in the fourth. Grayson scored another 32 in the second half to take the game at 47-33.
The Lady Raiders were led in scoring by McDaniel with 11 points and 3 out of 3 free throws. Sarah Payne and Ella Morris followed behind with 8 and 7 points respectively.
