Owensboro, Daviess County and Apollo competed in sectionals where Henderson took home the win placing first overall. McCracken placed second, host Apollo placed third, Daviess County placed fourth and Owensboro placed fifth.
Apollo’s Jake Ramsey and Tavius Walker both went undefeated in the competition at 4-0, and Walker recorded 4 first-period pins. Kevin Lopez, Noah Pendley, Colton Hardy and Patrick Glenn all went 3-1 during the competition for the Eagles as well.
