Owensboro traveled to Bowling Green to take on South Warren, and the boys’ team went home with a win while the girls’ team fell short.
On the boys’ side, they defeated the Spartans 6 to 1. Xavier Coomes led the way for the Red Devils as he had recorded scores of 243 and 194 to help lift oHS over South Warren. Christian Miller also stood out with scores of 203 and 188. Another notable performance was from Ryan Cain who scored 189.
For the Lady Red Devils, South Warren took the victory defeating OHS 6 to 1 with some close games coming down to just a few pins. Chloe Cook led the team scoring 133 while Teriana Jenkins was not far behind scoring 129.
