Daviess County and Owensboro both traveled to Bowling Green to compete in the Bowling Green High School Bakers Invitational where Graves County went on to take the championship.

Daviess County’s boys’ team were seeded at 11th before they faced off against Pleasure Ridge Park’s second team in the first round and won 2-1. In the second round they were defeated 0-2 by Graves who would go on to win the championship match. Top bowlers for the Panthers included Ocean Barnett who bowled a 199 and Evan Onstott who bowled a 175.
The girls’ team were seeded at 12th and was eliminated in the first round by Pleasure Ridge Park’s third team. Top bowlers for the Lady Panthers included Taylor Curry who bowled a 373 series that tied her at 5th place and earned her a spot on the All-Tournament team, and Sydney Wedding who bowled a 190.
OHS
Owensboro had two teams compete in the event as well. Team 1 was seeded 2nd before winning in the first round. They were eliminated in the second round by hosts Bowling Green. Team 2 was eliminated in the first round of play.
Top bowlers for the Red Devils included Deghen Riggs, who bowled a 256 and a 193, and Ryan Cain, who bowled a 235 and a 203, who were both named to the All-Tournament team. Tristan Miller bowled a 237 and a 184, Chuck Canady bowled a 221 and a 198, and Andrew Christensen bowled a 225 as well.
