Daviess County produced a 4th place finish after traveling to Gulf Shores, AL to compete in the Golden Bear Grapple.
Kali Nichols won the title in the 145-weight class championship after beating the #2 ranked female wrestler in Alabama in the final match. Lylli Sandefur placed 3rd in the 152-weight class as well.
Aiden Ranburger won his 113-weight class championship to help lead the team. Jackson Stoner (WT 120) had a string of pins to help him make it to the final match in his weight class championship. Stoner was defeated 8-4 and was named runner up. Luke McLamb also placed runner up in the 126-weight class championship. Payton Sandefur (WT 157) placed third and Kaden Nichols (WT 144) placed 4th as well.
