Owensboro Catholic suffered their second loss of the season after falling to Cooper 68-56 in the Queen of the Commonwealth tournament at Bullitt East.
The two teams were evenly matched in the first quarter as Catholic trailed by a single point at the end of the first quarter at 12-11. Cooper then extended that lead by outsourcing OCHS 24-10 in the second quarter to put the score at 34-21 at halftime. Catholic came back and, with the help of 4 three-pointers, matched Cooper in scoring by putting up 21 points in the third quarter. Catholic closed the gap, but enough to take the lead and they lost 68-56.
The Lady Aces had four players help on the scoring front by scoring in the double digits. Delaney Cooper led the team with 14 points. Jenna Krampe had the next highest with 13 points. Karmin Rile and Hailee Johnson had 11 and 10 points respectively as well.
