Apollo, Daviess County and Owensboro all picked up a loss despite strong performances from their players.
Ohio County 41, AHS 37
Despite two of their players reaching double digits in points, Apollo fell to Ohio County in their match that ended 41-37.
The leading scorer for the E-gals was Jennifer Lee with 14 points. Following close behind was Jenna Dent with 13 points.
Meade County 72, DCHS 59
Daviess County was able to score plenty of points, but couldn’t score enough to close the gap in their 71-59 defeat against Meade.
The Lady Panthers had 3 players score in the double digits. The two scorers leading the team were Lily Hoagland and Kennedy Lane who both had 19 points each. Zoey Beehn followed with 11 points. Both Hoagland and Lane finished with a high FT%. Hoagland shot 7-9 and Lane shot 3-4.
Pulaski County 61, OHS 58
Owensboro narrowly lost at home to Pulaski County in a 61-58 defeat.
A’Lyrica Hughes put on a double-double performance however, as she recorded 23 points along with 12 rebounds. Shalyn Sprinkles had the next highest scoring with 14 points. Heleina John also had double digit points with 10 points.
