Connor Hatfield put on a 19-point performance in Trinity’s 47-36 loss against Hancock County.
THS started the game off with a one-bucket advantage by end of the first quarter at 10-8. The game stayed close in the second quarter and went into halftime with Hancock having a one-point lead. The game came down to the final quarter as the third quarter ended with the score tied at 28-28. Hancock overpowered the Raiders and scored 19 points in the final quarter to Trinity’s 8 to run away with the lead and end the game 47-36.
Hatfield’s 19 points led the team in scoring and was a factor in the close game leading up to the fourth quarter. Hatfield also ended with a high FT% as he shot 5 of 6 from the line.
