Kenzie McDowell led on defense and offense in Trinity’s 57-39 defeat against Hopkins County Central.
Trinity kept the match close to start out as they ended the first quarter 11-8. Hopkins Central extended their lead to 10 by the end of the first half at 24-14. Trinity struggled to string shots together in order to close the gap, and the game ended 57-39.
McDowell led the Lady Raiders in points with 17 on offense. On defense she led the team in steals with four and led in rebounds with eight, and five of those rebounds were defensive boards. Sarah Payne had the second most points with 11 as well as five defensive rebounds and one offensive rebound.
