Apollo couldn’t keep up in their 36-7 loss on the road against Madisonville-North Hopkins on Friday.
Apollo’s only touchdown was scored on a 10-yard rush by JT Edge in the fourth quarter. By that point, it was too late for Apollo to mount a comeback as Madisonville had 36 by the end of the third quarter. Madisonville had a 21-0 lead by halftime as they scored three touchdowns. They added two more to the scoreboard to close out the game in the third quarter.
Apollo are now 1-7 in the season and take to the field again on October 20 at Marshall County.
