In the opening night of volleyball season, Trinity swept Henderson County while Owensboro lost to Meade County and Owensboro Catholic fell to Bowling Green.
THS 3, Henderson County 0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-10)
Junior Kenzie McDowell had two kills, 27 assists, two aces, and five digs. Senior Hannah Nash had 14 kills, two aces, and one dig. Senior Georgia Howard had 12 kills, one assist, one ace, and six digs. Junior Addison Mills had five kills, three aces, three digs, and one block.
Meade County 3, OHS 0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-22)
Junior Ava Fincher had five aces, three kills, one block, 22 assists, and four digs. Junior Addie Travis had 12 kills and 13 digs. Senior Chase Mather had four kills, one ace, and 16 digs.
Bowling Green 3, OCHS 0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-10)
Senior Kennedy Murphy had one ace, one kill, one block, 16 assists, and four digs. Senior Karson Tipmore had 18 digs. Senior Blair Riney had three kills and 10 digs.
