Following stellar seasons in the purple and white, senior Wyatt Battaile and junior Jordan Roland have both been named Second Team All-G-MAC.
Playing in his final season for the Panthers, Battaile led the team with averages of 14.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and a total of 59 three pointers. The Pikeville, Ky. native scored in double-figures 23 times this season, including a career high 30 points in an overtime win over Tiffin on February 10th. Originally a transfer from Louisville, Battaile finished his Wesleyan career with totals of 895 points, 446 rebounds, and 162 assists. This is his second year on an All-G-MAC team as he was also named to the second team last season.
A first year player for the Panthers, Roland led the Panthers with 34.5 minutes/game and finished with averages of 14.3 points and 3.1 rebounds. He scored in double-figures 23 times this season and tallied a season high 24 points twice, in games against Cedarville and Findlay. The Flint, Michigan native poured in a season high six threes in a win over Findlay early in the season. This is the second all conference team for Roland, as he was named All-MEC Second Team while playing for Notre Dame (OH) last season.
The Panthers finished their season with an overall record of 14-14 and a 9-11 mark in G-MAC play.
