Panthers compete at Mid-Winter Classic

Competing against some of the top bowling teams in the country, the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers placed 15th out of 18 teams at the Arkansas State Mid-Winter Classic. 

Down 2-0 to Jackson State in their final match, the Panthers mounted a comeback to take the match and claim 15th place, going 5-8 on the weekend. 

Individually Lauren Meagher placed 28th with a five-game average of 206.4, Corynne Bean placed 35th with an average of 201.2, and Alyssa Zombirt tallied an average score of 197.6 for 45th place. Zombirt bowled a team high 246 in the Best of Baker match against Jackson State to secure the victory.

The Panthers will take a bit of a break before they resume action at the Music City Invitational in Smyrna, Tenn. on the weekend of March 18-20.
