Kentucky Wesleyan College head football coach Craig Yeast has announced the Panthers’ 2022 recruiting class, consisting of 33 student-athletes that will don the purple and white next season on the gridiron. The class is comprised individuals hailing from seven different states, who have all officially signed with KWC on Wednesday’s National Signing Day.
Local talent includes Isaiah Tomes (Daviess County), Weston Lane (Georgetown College/Daviess County), Angel Long (Caldwell County), Blake Vivrette (Caldwell County), Chase Wells, (Todd Central), Dylan Yates (Crittendon County), and Karsen Steele (Lindsey Wilson/Muhlenburg County).
The Panthers finished last season 3-8, a record that is deceiving due to the amount of close games the Panthers competed in.
“I’m extremely excited about our 2022 recruiting class” said head coach Craig Yeast. “Our coaching staff has done a tremendous job of identifying talent that fits our schemes and builds relationships throughout the process. We addressed several needs on offense, defense, and special teams, as well as provided much needed roster depth. I’m excited about the high level of the athletes and the quality of the young men that we have added to our program, we aren’t done yet! Paws up!”
