On Monday Owensboro Catholic was victorious against Owensboro and Bowling Green in a three-team match.
The Aces beat the Red Devils 5-2 with the total pin fall being 2204-2197.
In the next match Owensboro Catholic finished with a 4-3 win over Bowling Green, with the total pin fall being 2204-2392.
The Aces highest single game was 218 by Aaron Self, Owensboro’s was 180 from Xavier Coomes and Bowling Green’s was 247 by Trevor Huff.
The Red Devils placed third on Monday, with other players also chipping in high games.
That includes Guadalupe Munoz at 179, Christian Miller at 162 and 156, Tristan Miller at 161 and 156 and Lillian Cook 158 and 155.
Owensboro’s regular season came to a close with the match, as they now look forward to the regional tournament in Bowling Green on Jan. 28 and Jan. 29.
Meanwhile Owensboro Catholic has one last match before postseason play, as they are set to take on Apollo on Monday, Jan. 24.
