Daviess County girls’ golf came away victorious as a team, while Apollo’s Macey Brown stole the show individually at Ben Hawes.
Daviess County shot a 172 overall with Holly Holton and Addison Heady both shooting a 39 on the day.
Teammates Kursten Henderson and Anna Lee Yeager followed with a 45 and 49 each to round out the total score for the Lady Panthers.
Apollo shot a 199 overall with Macey Brown leading all golfers with a 37. Claire Reynolds followed right behind with a 38, while Mary Ann Lyons shot a 48 and Alissa Perkins shot a 76.
This was enough to give Apollo second place as Owensboro decided not to play at the event due to heat.
