The Kentucky Wesleyan Women’s Bowling team had three individuals named to the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic team for 2020-21. Along with the three individuals, KWC was awarded an All-Academic team award as well.
A student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year to qualify as an NTCA All-Academic member. Freshman Katelyn Payne, sophomore Lauren Meagher, and junior Alyssa Zombirt were all named to the NTCA All-Academic team.
As a program, teams must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher to qualify for a team All-Academic award. As a team, KWC women’s bowling had a GPA of 3.33, which earned them a spot on their first ever All-Academic team.
