A number of local golfers took to the Windridge Country Club to compete in the GO Junior Golf Series tournament.
Eight golfers from Owensboro claimed first in their respective divisions, with a plethora of golfers placing in the top five of their divisions.
The eight golfers that claimed first place include John William Wathen (41 in Boys 9-10, nine holes) Luke Estes (44 in Boys 9-10, nine holes), Baylie Billingsley (42 in Girls 11-12, nine holes), John Carson Malone (18 in Boys 8-under, three holes), Braden Whistle (72 in Boys 16-18, 18 holes), Megan Haynes (128 in Girls 13-15, 18 holes), Holly Holton (80 in Girls 16-18, 18 holes) and Jax Malone (74 in Boys 13-15, 18 holes)
The GO Junior Golf Series will move to Kenny Perry’s CC in Franklin, KY, for its next tournament.
