The Owensboro Catholic track & field program hit the road Monday for the Class 1A, Region 2 Meet, in Green County with multiple Aces posting high finishes.
Catholic brought two region championships back to Owensboro with the Lady Aces winning the 4×100-meter relay and Ella Claire Goetz winning the 3,200-meter run. Goetz also finished third in the 1,600-meter run. The Lady Aces finished fourth in the 4×200-meter relay.
On the boy’s side, Luke Payne took sixth in the 800-meter run and the 1,600-meter run for the Aces.
Emilee Cecil (5th) and Kashlynn Rice (8th) each finished top-10 in the girl’s 100-meter dash while Maleigha Shelton finished 10th in the 200-meter dash.
