Apollo High School standout and former University of Kentucky Wildcat Rex Chapman will be featured in a E:60 documentary tonight at 6 p.m. on ESPN.
During his two seasons at UK, Chapman averaged 17.6 points while shooting 40 percent from three-point range before becoming the first-ever draft pick of the Charlotte Hornets in 1988.
Now, Chapman serves as the co-host for UK basketball’s pregame radio show and he has gained a following on Twitter with his popular “Block or Charge” tweets.
E:60, ESPN’s award-winning primetime sports magazine show, is now chronicling Chapman’s journey from basketball legend, to NBA player, to drug addict, to internet sensation in “Being Rex Chapman.”
