Trinity falls in 12th District title game

The Trinity volleyball team came up short in the 12th District tournament championship, falling 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-15, 25-15) at home to Grayson County on Tuesday.

The Lady Raiders still have at least one more game, as they will move on to next wee’s 3rd Region tournament at Hancock County. The schedule has not been yet been finalized.

Leading Trinity on Tuesday were Josie Aull (22 assists, 13 digs), Taylor Pedley (17 digs), Morgan Kinsey (13 kills), Abby Payne (12 digs) and Lexie Barnett (10 digs).

Other contributions came from Cassidy Morris (5 kills, 5 digs), Hannah Nash (8 kills), Avery Barnett (4 assists, 3 digs), Josie Booker (7 digs) and Jenna McDowell (3 kills).
