Monday’s softball action:

Daviess County 11, South Spencer 0 (5 innings)
Millie Roberts hit a two-run homer to walk off with a win in five innings, and the Lady Panthers also got home runs from Emma Young and Sydney Howard in the victory.
Young’s two-run bomb came in a three-run first inning, while a solo shot by Howard led off a three-run second frame. In the fifth inning, Daviess County got RBI doubles by Howard, Savanah Northern and Abby Newman before Roberts ended the game with her 12th homer of the year.
Roberts led the game with three RBIs and Newman led with three runs scored.
Cameron Hamilton gave up only two hits and struck out four in the complete-game shutout.

Trinity 20, Grayson County 7 (6 innings)
Katherine Hibbitt homered while Avery Barnett and Georgia Howard drove in four runs each as the Lady Raiders (12-13) breezed to a six-inning win on the road. After scoring five runs in both the second and fourth innings, Trinity plated nine in the sixth.
Barnett, Howard and McKenzie Roberts each collected three hits of the team’s 20 total, while five others got two a piece.
Nina Wathen scored a team-high five times, while Hibbitt and Roberts each added three runs. Barnett and Savannah Aull scored twice each. Roberts, Hibbitt, Wathen and Cassidy Morris each drove in two runs.
Hibbitt pitched the complete game, giving up seven runs (four unearned) on nine hits.

Butler County 12, Owensboro 3
The Lady Devils (3-21) fell behind early and couldn’t make a comeback in a loss on the road.
Aubrey Hendricks had a double, one of four hits for Owensboro. Aubrey Schueler took the loss, going 2.2 innings in the circle and allowing eight runs (three unearned) on six hits.

The E-Gals (13-11) couldn’t get much offense going in a road loss, snapping a six-game win streak. The lone hit came from Mattie Lyons.
Madison Julian went 3.0 innings in the loss, giving up five runs on six hits.
