The Trinity volleyball team avenged a loss from a few weeks ago and beat Grayson County 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-16) Tuesday to win the District 12 Tournament.
The Lady Raiders (23-7) and Grayson County both advance to the Region 3 Tournament next week at Muhlenberg County. The field is not yet set, as some districts have not crowned their champion. The draw for seeding and schedule of play is set for Saturday morning.
Trinity was led in the victory by Savannah Aull (15 kills), Nina Wathen (18 assists, 5 kills), Morgan Kinsey (4 kills) and Cassidy Morris (3 kills, 6 blocks).
