• Matthew Williams, 58, of the 1200 block of Carter Road was charged Tuesday with first-degree strangulation.
• Christian Wright, 23, of the 2500 block of 10th Street, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence.
• Lashawa Neil Jackson, 45, of the 800 block of Stone Street was charged Wednesday with third-degree rape.
