A traffic accident injured two people on Friday at the corner of E. 18th St. and Breckenridge St. at 5:41 p.m. Drivers Astacia M. Baxter, 23, of the 200 block of Frayser Ave. and Donna Hinton, 53, of the 1600 block of E. 17th St. were involved in the accident. Hinton and a passenger, Bradley Hinton, 53, of the 1600 block of E. 17th St. were injured in the accident and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment. Baxter was charged with driving under the influence in relation to the accident.

 

A traffic accident injured one person on Friday at the corner of N. York St. and Dallas Ave. at 5:35 p.m. Drivers Jeremy R. Stevens, 41, of the 2100 block of Tamarack Rd. and Gerald W. Tindall, of the 2200 block of Surrey Drive W. were involved in the accident. Tindall was injured and taken to OHRH for treatment.

 

A theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Thursday in the 3000 block of Burlew Blvd. A vehicle was reported stolen at a value of $899.

 

In the 4300 block of Loft Cove on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking (theft of a controlled substance) under $10,000 was reported.

 

A third-degree burglary was reported Friday in the 2500 block of E. Cloverdale Dr. Tools were reported stolen at a value of $1,100.

 

In the 100 block of E. 2nd St. on Friday, an intimidation of a participant in the legal process was reported.

 

A second-degree robbery was reported Friday in the 1500 block of Frederica St. A wallet and $120 cash were reported stolen at a value of $130.

 

In the 2500 block of O’Bryan Blvd. on Friday, a theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A 2004 Toyota Corolla was reported stolen at a value of $1,000.
