A theft by unlawful taking (theft of a firearm) was reported Monday in the 4000 block of Carpenter Dr. A firearm was reported stolen at a value of $150.
In the 800 block of Time Dr. on Monday, a third-degree burglary was reported. Six pairs of shears used for hair-cutting and U.S. currency were reported stolen at a value of $2,415.36.
A second-degree assault was reported Sunday on Churchill Dr.
A traffic accident injured one person on Sunday in the 1300 block of W. 2nd St. at 4:36 p.m. Drivers Charles W. Carf, 45, of the 900 block of Locust St. and Mariann Molyneux, 32, of the 1100 block of W. 1st St. were involved in the accident, which injured Molyneux, who was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries.
