Owensboro Police Department
An accident was reported at East Byers Avenue and Veach Road. Melanie L. Thomas, 21, of Utica and Alexandira R. Knight, 26, of the 600 block of Wing Avenue, were involved in the collision. Thomas and a passenger, Maria F. Thorpe,19, of the 1400 block of Bowie Trail, were transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with injuries.
