A theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported on Dec. 23 in the 2000 block of Hughes Ave. a 2011 Nissan Sentra was reported stolen at a value of $5,000.
A theft of a motor vehicle registration plate was reported Saturday in the 3600 block of Arlington Dr.
A second-degree burglary was reported Saturday in the 1900 block of E. 10th St. Two guitars were reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,500.
In the 200 block of Salem Dr., a theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported on Saturday. Cash was stolen from a shoebox at an estimated value of $4,320.
