A traffic accident occurred Friday at the corner of W. 4th St. and Allen St. at 10:39 a.m. Drivers involved included Susan D. Morishige, 64, of the 30 block of Dixiana Ct. and Logan R. Gordon, 21, of the 400 block of North Mantle Ave. Morishige’s passenger, David W. Middleton, 62, of the 800 block of Leitchfield Rd. was injured in the accident and transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.

 

A first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported Tuesday in the 4800 block of Frederica At. A counterfeit $100 bill was reported to authorities.

 

A first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported Thursday in the 2500 block of W. Parrish Ave.

 

In the 3100 block of W. 2nd St. on Thursday, a second-degree assault was reported.

 

A third-degree assault was reported Thursday on Bosley Ave.

 

A theft by deception (including cold checks) under $10,000 was reported Friday in the 1500 block of E. 15th St. A welder and welding helmet were reported stolen at an estimated value of $4,764.

 

A theft by unlawful taking (theft of controlled substance) under $10,000 was reported Friday in the 1700 block of Hollendale Dr. Oxycodone was reported stolen.

 

A theft by unlawful taking under $500 and a theft by deception (including cold checks) under $500 were reported Friday in the 3100 block of E. Parrish Ave. Items were reported stolen at a value of $20.20.

 

A theft by unlawful taking (theft of a controlled substance) under $10,000 was reported Friday in the 700 block of Princeton Pkwy. Opium was reported stolen at an estimated value of $5.

 

A second-degree burglary was reported Friday in the 500 block of E. 4th St. A 32-inch TV and a 42-inch TV were reported stolen at an estimated value of $2,100.

 

In the 5200 block of Frederica St. on Friday, a theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A gaming computer system was reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,033.47.
