• Charles Alston, 43, of the 300 block of Maple Street was served with a warrant Friday for trafficking in a controlled substance (meth). Alston was additionally charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (meth, cocaine and drug unspecified), trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Laura J. Blanton, 37, of the 300 block of Hale Avenue was served with a warrant Friday for promoting contraband in the first degree.
