Lillian “Lillie” Keiningham, 82, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Goochland, Virginia to the late Frederick and Virginia Thurston Williamson.
Mrs. Keiningham was a retired music teacher. She touched the lives of thousands of students and others through her thirty-four years of teaching in the Daviess County School System. Lillie also served as choir director at Dawson Baptist Church, Riverside Baptist, and Trinity United Methodist. During her retirement years, Mrs. Keiningham was Assistant Chaplain at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Keiningham was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Keiningham and his wife, Lerzan, of Cresskill, NJ and Titus Keiningham and his wife, Katrin, of Brentwood, TN; grandchildren, Hana, Sage, Alexander, Christopher and Max; three sisters, Gene Bricker, Alice Coor and Mary Mathias; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 29 at First Baptist Church, 230 J.R. Miller Blvd., Owensboro, KY 42303. Dr. Paul Strahan will officiate.
