
Patsy Diane Hardin, 75, of Owensboro passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mrs. Hardin was born December 11, 1942 in Daviess County to the late Alonzo and Viola Epley. Patsy was a dietician and retired from the Wendall Foster Center. She was affectionately known as “Granny” and loved visiting friends at the Roosevelt House and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her very faithful pet Clowie Rose.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bobby Joe Hardin in 2010; a daughter, Rhonda Dant in 2002; and her sister Jane Welch.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” Renfrow (Wendell) of Owensboro; grandchildren, Kyle Alvey (Megan) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Krystle Dukes (Chris), Lyda Jade Renfrow, and Landon Renfrow all of Owensboro; great grandchildren, Emma Kate Alvey, Blaklee Dukes, and Beaux Daizee Dukes; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to Hospice of Western Kentucky and the staff at the Heartford House.
A celebration of life will be held at Encounter Community Church, 2001 Prince Ave on Thursday from noon till 5:00 pm. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
