Julia Marie Storm

June 8, 1924 - June 30, 2019

Julia Marie Paceley Storm, 95, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday June 30, 2019 at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center. Julia was born June 8, 1924 in Illinois, to the late Clyde and Elsie May Bunch Paceley. She was a loving and caring lady who took care of and lived with her mother for 27 years after her father passed away, and dearly loved her family more than anything else. Julia retired from General Electric after 25 years of service where she worked as a line worker, and then was a cook at Days Inn restaurant for many years where she was very well known for her delicious pies. Julia was known as the “bingo queen” at Hermitage Care while living there and was a long-time member of Greater Vision Baptist Church.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Tom Brenner.

Julia is survived by her daughters, Judy Hardin, Shelia Clark and Kenna Shutt (Michael) of Owensboro; sons, Terry Storm (Janice) of Owensboro and Mark Storm (Julia) of Morgantown; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

The Funeral service for Julia Storm will be 1 PM, Wednesday at Greater Vision Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Russ officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM till time of service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport, IN.
