Joseph F. "Bub" Zogg

Joseph F. “Bub” Zogg, Jr., 64, of Owensboro passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born Dec. 26, 1954, in Owensboro to the late Joseph F. Zogg, Sr. and Ruby Hartz Zogg. He was a carpenter for 35 year and a member of the Carpenter’s and Joiner’s Union.

He was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church and the Immaculate Men’s Club.

Bub enjoyed fishing and woodworking, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He also was preceded in death by his nephew, Christopher Thompson.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Susan Hayden Zogg; two brothers, Dan and Jeff Zogg both of Owensboro; three sisters, Spanky (Bob) Steele, Stacy (Bruce) Thompson and Missy Wethington, all of Owensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Immaculate Catholic Church with Father John Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory.
