Henrietta H. Kingkade

Henrietta H. Kingkade, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Henrietta lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and the simple joys she treasured most. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and the quilting ministry.

She cherished the comfort of her front porch, where hours were happily spent watching the world go by or chatting with family and friends. She delighted in working puzzles, tending her garden, and playing games—but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her warmth, wit, and quiet strength touched all who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well-lived. She will be missed dearly and remembered always. Henrietta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Irvin “Jack” Kingkade; her sister, Attie Nix Peeno; and nephew James Robert “Jim Bob” Wethington.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jeff Kingkade, and daughter-in-law, Sherry; her granddaughter, Amanda Ward, and husband, Zack; her grandson, Jeffery Kingkade, and wife, Sarah; and her five great-grandchildren: Nolan, Ella, and Hannah Ward, and Jackson and Walker Kingkade. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the nurses and nurses aides at Hillcrest Nursing Home who lovingly cared for her over the last several months. I
