Joseph William Wheatley, 71, of Owensboro, passed on April 15, 2025, at his home. The Daviess County native was born September 24, 1953. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Wheatley.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Velinda Wheatley and granddaughter, Katelyn Cunliffe.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Portica Jones and Kelly (Drew) Wood; sisters, Cathy Pederson and Sherry Glenn; six grandchildren; as well as many other loving family and friends.
