Bradford C. Humphrey, 67, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of W. Kentucky. Brad was born in Portland, Oregon on April 28, 1957, and raised by his late parents, Dan and Ann Fleming. He graduated from Ohio County High School, class of 1975. Brad was employed with Sears for 38 years in the corporate offices in Chicago when he retired and began working for Stratus until 2019 as a Director of Construction. He took great pride in his work and was a mentor to many. Brad and his wife were members of Willow Huntley Church where Brad served in many different ways. He was a family man, a “Mr. Fix It”, enjoying movies and sunsets, and an avid UK fan.
His grandchildren were loved and greatly enjoyed by Brad.
In addition to his parents and biological father, Pat Humphrey, Brad also was preceded in death by his infant grandchild, Riley Humphrey and his siblings, Dan Fleming, Robin McCready, and Charlene Niles Hauth.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Kay Stone Humphrey; sons, Jason Humphrey (Ashley) of McHenry, Illinois and Jordan Humphrey (Amber) of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Paxton, Lucas, Emeliah, David, Everett, and Emma; siblings, Jolene Robert, Mike Humphrey, and P.J. Humphrey; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The memorial service will be at noon Saturday, April 26 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with same day visitation from 9:00 am until the time of the service. A private interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
