Henry Sellers, 74, of Akron, Ohio, passed away April 18, 2025, in Owensboro, Kentucky. Born December 6, 1950, he was the beloved son of Johnny and Lily Mae Sellers.
Henry was a man who never shied away from good conversation. His easy-going nature and gift for storytelling made him a friend to many and a stranger to none. An outdoorsman at heart, Henry found peace near the water, fishing rod in hand, casting a line with quiet patience. He also had a love of working on cars, whether he was finetuning an engine or helping someone get theirs back on the road.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lily Mae Sellers, as well as siblings, Roberts Johnson, Rodney Sellers, and Valerie Sellers.
Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 35 years, Jackie Sellers; stepsons, Marcus and Cortney McCormick; siblings, Raymond, Bernard, Anthony, and Towanda Sellers; five grandchildren; as well as a host of other loving family and friends.
